As usual, beautiful work, Tom.

The sixth one down looks for all the world like African tribal art. Ashanti, maybe.

Indeed, there is some resemblance there. I was drawn to the gentle curve of the handlebar, so unlike today's bikes. Each one of these is an engineering marvel, an evolutionary advance or dead-end, such as the triangular sprocket or the last bike in the series that had a drive shaft instead of a chain. The curvature of the frames, the detailed stamped emblems, all evoke a former time when details mattered.

Thanks, Bud. Wouldn't your RV look great with one of these strapped to the back?

That would be pretty amazing, Tom. I'd be afraid we'd rattle it to death on the road, though. Today is moving day. Leaving Trego County, headed for Colorado. Good medicine. I have never been so relaxed.

I'm jealous! Safe journeys.
