Oh, that must have been a wonderful event. You've captured the excitement and enthusiasm flowing all over the place.

You take the best people-on-horseback-with-flags photos I've ever seen. And I love that first photo. When I was in Kansas, I saw liatris/blazing star everywhere, but it had gone to seed. There it is, in all it's glory. Wish I was there to see it -- or that I could find some around here. It's the season, and I know it's blooming somewhere.

Linda -- It's still blooming up here and might get a second breath since we had a lot of rain last night. Thanks for the kind comments. It's virtually impossible to take a bad photo of guys with flags on horseback.

Thanks, Jen. I wish I would have tried to do less walking and more photographing, but maybe next time...

Matt -- Glad you enjoyed them. It was a special event in a special place, and next time I want to spend a little more time sitting on my butt listening to the music.

You're welcome, MShaw! If they decide to hold it again next year, I'll post something here to let people know.
