I really enjoy coming across the occasional barn decorated with a quilt block. It's fun to see how some of those come into being. There aren't so many here in Texas, but of course our barns are different -- at least in my part of the country. When I was traveling in the midwest, they were far more common. One that comes to mind, of course, is the the at Pioneer Bluffs.

The barn at Pioneer Bluffs now has a quilt block, too! They're becoming much more visible throughout the Flint Hills, which really is a nice treat.
