Thanks, Bud. I was shocked at how poorly I shot during the evening, but I wasn't feeling too good so that might have had something to do with it. That I got anything at all is more a testament to the camera and lens than me.

Great action shots, Tom. If the evening didn't work as well, MIGHT it have been that you had less light to compensate for the fast shutter speed needed? It's hard to stop action without enough light. These day-shots are spectacular!

Yeah, it's tough shooting in near blackout conditions. I wish the rodeo took place in the day time instead of lasting until 10 or 11. Even my camera has trouble keeping up with the action.
