They were trying to replicate an old Airstream ad from the forties, and it worked out almost as good as the original! Loads of fun, but what a day! Thankfully, one of the glamper gals made me a rum and (very little) Coke. Damn, I needed that!
Our grandfather B.B. Smith had a model of that Ford Thunderbird in your photos when we used to visit him as kids in Breckenridge. I really wanted that model. Your photos brought back some good memories of those times. Thanks Tom
