Oh, my gosh! Look at those bunnies! They're wonderful.
The huge murals in the photo six up from the bottom - are those Thomas Hart Benton? or someone else? They're marvelous.
I must say, I like the black and whites the best. There are so many of quality I can't pick a favorite. What a great opportunity you had to document this place.
Linda, the mural is by John Steuart Curry. The murals were scattered throughout the building and are every bit as magnificent as the architecture. I'd like to return sometime with a tripod and a ladder and shoot every one of them. The capitol was a surprise as I hadn't known what to expect.
Tom, except for shooting the Sibelius Inauguration with no chance for rubbernecking, it's been forty years since I was inside the Statehouse. Missouri's pales in comparison. Nice work, indeed.

Hey Tom
Is this building in Topeka?

It's the state capitol in Topeka, yes.
Totally enjoyed your State Capitol photos, Tom. Think I'll share the glory on Facebook. Thanks for sharing!

Isn't that last image one of yours?
The image is mine. The capitol bought artwork from Kansas photographers for the new visitor center. I was tickled pink to see it there.
Share away, Carol.
Goosebumps, Tom. I thought that image had the Parker touch. Major bragging rights, well earned.
Thanks, Mr. Big Bunny. We need to get together this year--none of us are getting any younger.
