Matt, there was a barn tour through Washington and Marshall counties several years ago that was well attended and a lot of fun (two round barns!). It was hosted by the Kansas Barn Alliance, if I'm not mistaken. And yes, at each stop the owners gave historical information as well as tours, and visitors were allowed access to just about everywhere and everything.

Thanks for inviting me--we should do it again next year.
Think we could rustle up something like this in Marshall County? What type of background/history/etc. did folks have prepared for each stop?
