Thanks, Carol. Someday I'd like to use a 300mm f2.8 with 1.4 extender and see what happens! As it was, I'm pretty far from the action, so it's always tricky.

Reece: Yes on the D3s. When push came to shove I just couldn't shoot a rodeo with a paltry four frames per second.
Little Apple Tally: You should be proud! He did a great job, which is all that really matters.
Great action shots, Tom. I tried photographing a rodeo from the stands one evening. The results were pathetic. You did GREAT!
