Killer work! Some of the action shots are awesome. I'm assuming you were using the D3s?

Love it that you got these even if it isn't your comfort zone... or maybe because it isn't. That's my grandsons roping with his hat flying. It wasn't a winning time but when you consider he is 13 and roping against the big boys, I am mighty proud.

Reece: Yes on the D3s. When push came to shove I just couldn't shoot a rodeo with a paltry four frames per second.

Great action shots, Tom. I tried photographing a rodeo from the stands one evening. The results were pathetic. You did GREAT!

Thanks, Carol. Someday I'd like to use a 300mm f2.8 with 1.4 extender and see what happens! As it was, I'm pretty far from the action, so it's always tricky.
