Love these pics. Reminds me back before I was married and my husband was with the Parker Harvesting crew. Then after our son was old enough, he went on harvest also for 2 yrs. Lots of long hours and hard work.
I'm sure you have many great memories about the harvest. What interests me is that it's a world I know so little about, having been raised in cities. I consider being with them part of my rural education. Someday I'd like to tag along for a few weeks, do an in-depth photo study of the harvesters.
That sounds like a great project for you. I have a LOT of great pictures of where they all travel and what happens during a typical day out in the fields. It is really beautiful out there in the country. A lot that people in the city have no idea about. Can be very relaxing. I think you'd enjoy yourself.
