What? A new camera? Congrats! I'd ask for all the techie details, but I wouldn't understand them, so I'll just enjoy the photos.
I'm curious about the Black Vermillion river, though. I'm not sure I've ever come across a river named for two colors! Or maybe it's just a dark river close to the town of Vermillion. Or maybe...
Yeah, it does't make much sense: the black red river. Well, which one is it? (Actually, neither!)
I'm temporarily using a Nikon D600 but might move into the D800. I'll know more next week when it arrives, and then I'll make my decision. It might be worth a column if for no other reason than to clear my head...
Those two shots of the river blew me away with their incredible detail. I've never seen anything even close to it.
