Getting' hitched with Caleb and Kristi redux

Love the capture by the car - that one's fun. And the couple in the cornfield is even better than the bride in the first set. I do like both of those, so much.

I just paid attention to the groom's name: Caleb. I haven't heard that name in years. No, decades. I associate it with the Amish, or just good country folk. I went to school with a Caleb.

Linda -- I have to correct you (since I was corrected): it's actually a wheat field. But a nice wheat field that really shows off the rural setting, the dress, the bride, the groom, etc. On the bride and groom shot I ran the image through the new Photoshop CS6 oil painting filter, masked the couple and some of the sky. The result was impressive, mostly on the wheat. It imparted a sense of movement and depth that had to be seen big and close to believe. I think I'm going to like that filter.

love these also! my expression in the first one when i was trying not to tear up is definitely a funny one :) it was all so much fun. ready to do it again?!

We could always do a trash-the-dress... but yes, it was so much fun. I'd do it again!

Oh - whoops. Yep, it is wheat. Just as pretty as corn, that's for sure. And the photo's still great!
