Familiar or not, I do love those open road photos. The one in the new header is great.
And the flowers in the mailbox? They look like Christmas poinsettias. Perfect, especially with all of that nice, new growth around them. Out with the old, in with the new!
The mailbox triggered one of those rubbernecking brake-slamming stops. Whoever put the flowers in the mailbox had a sense of humor. The house in the background has been abandoned for several decades.
