The photos bring back such great memories. I want to go again. If someone has never been to Watkins Woolen Mill in Lawson, Mo. www.watkinsmill.org/ you are in for a treat.
Okay, Bud, you have to make the pilgrimage. If you ask the ranger they'll let you shoot as much as you want in the mill itself. I had Lori asking the ranger questions while I wandered about with my tripod. We've made two trips and would love another. Best time to go: spring, when the forest is green and filled with wildflowers and migrating songbirds.
We took our sons back in the early 90's. If I remember right they were just starting on renovating--don't believe we were allowed in the mill itself... My in-laws went this last year and enjoyed it so we plan to go back and see the changes!
