Looks like some interesting light changes in there. How did the D3S do? Did you use the 24-70? Just curious. We leave for Zion and Bryce Canyon in 2 days. You should have let me borrow your new camera!
Wes -- The light was ethereal for the most part with dark brooding shadows when needed. Some of the real brooding stuff was brought out in post-processing, of course, but the D3s performed flawlessly. Almost every image was shot using the 70-200. I'd be happy to let you borrow the camera except that I need it to shoot a cattle auction in about a week or so. Bovine photography! Sounds kinky.
