I'm going to guess this is the one in Clay County rather than the unincorporated map dot in Butler County. I've been through the one in Butler, and there didn't seem to be more than a couple of houses and an intersection. I don't even think there was a stop sign. Places like that make me curious. Enough people must have lived there at some point to get together and decide on a name. Why were they there? Where did they go?
Jenni -- Correct you are. I loved your ruminations on those forgotten dots on the map. I've wondered the same thing knowing there were few answers only greater mysteries. Such, I suppose, is their fascination. And Linda, well, I was running late. Never got the old car grill jutting from the auto shop's facade or the abandoned mill being torn down. And more's the shame we couldn't photograph it before it's forever gone.

The "Gentry" photo is beautifully composed, and I do love that dusty teal.

Sounds like you need to go back and shoot more.
