Most of your subject matter sits perfectly still. Not these rodeo shots. I'm really impressed with the action you've frozen. You are an absolutely AMAZING photographer! Thanks so much for sharing this work on you blog.
Carol -- I hadn't thought about it that way, but now that you mention it, shooting action was a change of pace. I had a blast. These kids were extraordinary riders, with superb skills and a passion that nothing short of incandescent. If you ever get the chance to see them, do so. And thanks for the kind words. I secretly think my editor was trying to kick me out of my comfort zone.
Great set Tom, although now I feel a lot less special about my ability to ride an elderly slow-moving horse without falling off. These kids are impressive as heck.
