Are those iris stirrings? I took a walk around my garden and saw that the daffodils are starting to peak out of the earth. A welcoming site along with the disappearance of snow! I know I know we are to get more snow this weekend...yuk...but the greening is beginning!
IT HAS BEGUN!
I was thinking yesterday - "Surely there is going to be some green to look at pretty soon..." And there is some green. Gosh, it looks good.I love the last photo. Is that the shadow of a bit of grass? It's so interesting - the image looks warm and cold all at the same time.
Linda -- The blade of grass is inside a mini-greenhouse that once stored lettuce, backlit by the setting sun. Very soon we'll have to start some spinach and lettuce and cilantro. Yum. Can't wait.
