Looking at the pencil sharpener, I can smell the shavings. Emptying the sharpener was nearly as prestigious as cleaning the blackboard erasers.

Beautiful symmetry in the photo of the snow.
I've really enjoyed some specific photos, but the overarching feeling tonight is sadness. Emptiness and space - like New Mexico - is freeing and rejuvenating. Desolation is so distressing.
Linda -- Today's images were taken in a house slated for demolition. I found it interesting, and not a little sad, at all the writing on the walls. Entire lives were written there if only they could be deciphered...
