Thanks, Kim. Most of these were taken in an old electronics store/variety store. The boxes of vacuum tubes made me smile--when I first started working on burglar alarms in Denver back in the early '70s some of the equipment still used tubes. Used to carry a ton of them. Another facet of technology that's dropped by the wayside. I suppose thread and needles, and zippers, are pretty much the same.
I don't know how you check vacuum tubes to see if they're still good, but they sell for good money these days. VERY good money. Even the ones that aren't functional are being turned into art by the Steampunk crowd.The geese are wonderful. But the best laugh of my day was the fifth photo down. I know what it's like to have questions bottled up inside!
