I'm back, too, and breathing a deep sigh after day after day of time for nothing but getting the boats ready for Labor Day and tending my own blog.Now, I've the luxury to come and enjoy your trip and whatever else is here - I trust all went well, and that homecoming was as good as leaving home for new vistas.The petroglyphs are wonderful.
The homecoming was strange and strangely discombobulated. When we left it was summer and we returned in autumn. The chimney swifts were gone, as were most of the regular summer birds. Skies empty. And the corn had doubled in size, creating a green wall to the south. Wonderful! But I want to go back...
