I very much like the placement of the photo of the vibrant room. Sitting as it does between photos with splashes of desert color, it seems to be a distillation of what surrounds it.
I laughed out loud at the photo of the knobby, knarled bare tree. I haven't thought of Walt Disney's Fantasia in years, but that could be the prototype for those dancing trees that scared me as a kid.
Dan -- What a nice surprise to see you pop up here. The window was in a restaurant in Old Town, and the food, I'm happy to report, was phenomenal. The colors really caught my eye, and after eating I had the take the shot. Thanks for commenting.

The tree was awesome. We saw it from a distance and made a beeline for it and I still think of it on quiet evenings. So much character!
