Forget the car. How did you learn to do this? These are some of the best photos of kids I've ever seen. There's no "background", no cutesied up approach. The kids seem to have formed an organic whole with their world. These are marvelous.(Oh - "The Way We Worked" probably helped you on your way to this.)
How did I learn to do this? News work, I guess. Wanting to tell the story. The kids were sooooo good, and so easy in front of the camera, that we all had fun. It was never what we consider "work." And I believe some of the images were the best I've ever done. Frankly, I was a little nervous going into the shoot but now it's all I want to do. I'm hoping it wasn't just a case of beginners luck!
If it was beginner's luck, there would be one good photo. Maybe two. Not a whole set.
I appreciate the comments, Linda, but have to admit that I didn't show the 100 crappy shots. But yeah, I thought the day went very well. Now to find out if it was beginner's luck or not...
