Outstanding work, Tom. The dress from the ceiling fan is both iconic and unexpected.
Bud -- I originally tried cropping out the fan and then thought better of it. I wanted the dress highlighted against that cool patterned floor and the fan sort of added to it, once I got the feel for it. Maybe there's a future in wedding photography, after all. (I have a splendid partner, thank God.)
Gorgeous photos, Tom.
I was thinking about these photos today. Generally, I get pretty bored with wedding photos - so very often, if you don't know the bride and/or groom, they're pretty predictable and not very interesting. But, you have four photos here that are interesting, funny, well-composed and worth looking at even for a wedding non-guest. Good job!
Linda -- I tried looking at it from a different perspective. With each wedding, I want to expand my look--at least, that's the plan. The execution might be something else entirely! But yeah, most wedding photography is pretty boring.
Beautiful photos! So unique & soulful...
